WEATHER CHANGES..THEN BACK AGAIN-SCHOOLS CLOSED

The forecast calls for falling temperatures and snow today, with the possibility of an inch or less of accumulation, and this week we'll be chilly, with daytime highs only in the 20's. A “Wind Advisory” is posted until early evening and, blustery conditions are forecast for tomorrow. We will see a warm-up again by the weekend, according to forecaster, Dave Gurney, at the National Weather Service office in White Lake Township. Gurney says, he's seeing signs and symptoms of spring fever breaking out as we get closer and closer to the first of Spring.  He says most of us were probably spoiled a bit by winter last year, with mild temperatures and little in the way of snowfall, but this winter has, for the most part, been a return to normal. Icy side roads the reason for an extended mid-winter break for some students today.  Schools were closed in Brown City, Sandusky, Richmond, Armada, and others due to icy roadways.
