Residents of Sanilac County are receiving the 211 call center services thanks to the United Way of Sanilac County.   The 211 calling service was established by the Federal Service Commission over a decade ago to help callers find community information.  Those who call can recieve possible help from local agencies that can assist them in basic human and medical needs as well as support for the elderly, youth, and families.  According to the 211 Northeast Michigan Director Scott Redman, the expanision should be completed by the end of the year.
