A rare meltdown by Tigers ace Justin Verlander gave the Cleveland Indians a 5-3 win over Detroit on Thursday night. The Tigers blew a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh when the Tribe scored four times, including back-to-back home runs off Verlander from Carlos Santana and Travis Hafner. Delmon Young hit a home run for Detroit, while Austin Jackson had three hits and a walk and drove in a run. The Tigers continue a nine game road trip with a series in Toronto that begins on Friday night.
