Daniel Norris won his Tigers debut on Sunday, beating the Baltimore Orioles 6-1 at Camden Yards.  The lefty, acquired in the David Price trade from Toronto, went 7 1/3 and allowed a run on four hits, striking out five.  JD Martinez hit a three run home run to pace the Detroit attack.  The Tigers face the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday at Comerica Park.
The Baltimore Orioles beat the Detroit Tigers 6-2 on Friday night.  Nick Castellanos had a two run home run, and Ian Kinsler picked up three hits for the Tigers in the loss.  The final game of a four game series is set for Sunday afternoon in Baltimore.
The Detroit Tigers raced out to a 6-0 lead in Baltimore on Friday night, but lost 8-7 to the Orioles.  Ian Kinsler had four hits for the Tigers, while JD Martinez, James McCann, and Jefry Marte hit home runs.  Game three of a four game series is set for Saturday night at Camden Yards.
About 15 minutes before the MLB non waiver trade deadline on Friday, the Detroit Tigers made their third trade in two days, shipping left fielder Yoenis Cespedes to the New York Mets for right handed pitching prospects Michael Fulmer and Luis Cessa.  Cessa will head to AAA Toledo, while Fulmer will begin at AA Erie in the Detroit system.
The Detroit Tigers had two different seven run leads on Thursday, but then needed a five out save from Alex Wilson to hold off Baltimore 9-8.  The Tigers have won two in a row.  Ian Kinsler, Jose Iglesias, and Yoenis Cespedes all had three hits.  Cespedes, who hit a home run, also drove in three runs, as did JD Martinez, who had two doubles.  Game two of a four game
