GEAR UP TO GET YOUR KICKS, CHECKING OUT BOSS RIDES

Get your motor runnin'... it's time for the first Blue Water Cruise Weekend.  Classic cars, vintage automobiles, plus live music, food and lots of fun are in store for today, Saturday, and Sunday as Port Huron and Fort Gratiot Township join together to hold cruisin' events. Township Supervisor, Jorja Baldwin, tells us residents and cruisers will see welcoming signs and events going on up at the north end. The parade of cars starts, with the line up, along the Thomas Edison Parkway at 4:00 p.m. today, with the cruise starting at 6:00 p.m.. The cruise leads up to events and music at Cheap Charlie’s and the Fort Gratiot Big Boy. Then, Saturday sees the Keith Peterson Memorial Car Show starting at 10:00 a.m., at the Birchwood Mall, with The Sock Hop and Drive In Movie at Moran Chevrolet. Sunday it's all about the pre-1950s vintage cars, at the Puttin’ On The Ritz event, with cars at various locations downtown.
