In their first season of 8-man football the Deckerville Eagles will play the State Championship.  Deckerville improved to (11-1) with a 36-30 double overtime win at Portland St. Patrick on Saturday afternnoon in a semi-final playoff game.  The Eagles will face Bellaire in the championship game next weekend.  It is the third year in a row a team from the Blue Water Area has played for the title, with Carsonville-Port Sanilac winning the championship the last two years in a row.
