The Cleveland Indians raced out to an 8-2 lead and then held off the Detroit Tigers 9-6 on Wednesday night at Comerica Park. Brennan Boesch dropped a fly ball that would have been the last out of the first inning. The first pitch after the error was hit out of the park by Michael Brantley for a three run homer and turned out to be the difference in the game. Don Kelly and Miguel Cabrera hit home runs for the Tigers, Cabrera had two hits and drove in two runs. The two teams close out a three game series on Thursday.
