Bill Gilmer is an award winning radio journalist. Bill's career began in Defiance, Ohio, after graduating from Indiana University. Bill came to the Port Huron area in 1979, where he has worked for numerous Port Huron radio stations. Bill is also a former Port Huron City Councilmember, a former Blue Water Festival director and was a Vice-President of the Michigan Waterways Council of the Girl Scouts Of America. He is currently Chairman of the St. Clair County Local Emergency Planning Committee and is a member of the Citizen Corps Committee with the county.
