Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Studio 1219 packed in supporters Saturday night, for their 6th annual Bra Finale, featuring local firefighters modeling bras for auction. The benefit helps uninsured and under-insured women of St. Clair County, Port Huron Hospital Women’s Wellness Place and St Joseph-Mercy Port Huron Hospital. Jan Prusik, of Studio 1219, says she has seen growing support from the community. Since it's inception in 2007, more than $13,200 has been contributed to help under-insured women and 34 local women have been assisted with expenses for mammograms and other procedures.
