Election day is Tuesday and the Port Huron City Clerk’s office is offering up some reminders to voters. Clerk Cyndee Jonseck tells WPHM polls will be open from 7am to 8pm on Tuesday, November 6th, and that registered voters heading to the polls will need to bring a form of photo ID with them. If you will be out of town on election day, or otherwise unable to make it to the polls, Jonseck says there is still time to vote absentee. The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is 2pm Saturday. Jonseck says those wishing to vote absentee can still vote in person at the Municipal Office Center. All Michigan municipal clerks offices will be open from  9am to at least 2pm on Saturday. You can also vote in person absentee Monday between 8am and 4pm. Cyndee Jonseck also reminds those in precincts 1, 3, and 9 will now have a new location to cast their ballots come Tuesday. Those who voted at Holland Woods will vote instead at Colonial Woods. Voters who previously cast their ballots at Crull Elementary will now vote at the Port Huron Schools Administration Building. Those who voted a Roosevelt Elementary School will now cast their ballots at Griswold Street Baptist Church. A wide range of offices – from governor to local city council and school board – will be up for election Tuesday.
