Port Huron is fortunate to be one of two communities in the State of Michigan this summer to receive a generous donation from the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation and its partner, KaBOOM to install a new inclusive playground at Optimist Park. Volunteers from the community will meet on Saturday, August 18th to put together a creative playground with inclusive equipment so that kids of all ages and physical abilities can play together. Special guest speakers on Saturday will include Port Huron Mayor Pauline Repp, Recreation Director Nancy Winzer, and Mr. Jeff Littmann, Chairman of he Board of the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation from New York. The community one day build event will begin at 8am Saturday.
