More than just animals at this week’s 4-H fair

Youth and adults alike will be flocking to Goodells this week for the St. Clair County 4-H and Youth Fair. The annual fair opened yesterday and runs through Saturday. Among the event highlights include a monster truck show tonight, truck and tractor pulls Thursday night, bump and run Friday and the figure eight derby Saturday night. In addition to the grand stand activities, there will also be a carnival, tours of the St. Clair County Farm Museum and exhibition hall displays. Rob Usakowski, President of the St Clair County Agricultural Society, says the 4-H fair gives an opportunity for local youth to show off what they’ve been working on all year long. In additional to the traditional pigs and cows, youth will also be showing art projects and science projects as well. Usakowski says the cost to attend the fair is $7 for one person or $20 per car load. More information is available at For more details visit stclaircounty4hfair.org
