Port Huron, Marysville councils to meet tonight

Both Port Huron and Marysville City Councils meet tonight in regular session meetings. On the agenda in Port Huron is an agreement with “Diving with a Purpose” to create a monument near the Blue Water Bridge Intentional Flag Plaza for two Word War II Tuskeegee Airmen who died in training exercises over lower Lake Huron. The council will also be hearing recommendations on moving the polling place for Precincts 1, 3, and 9 in the City of Port Huron. In Marysville, council members will be asked to approve a Liquor License for the Fieldhouse Sports Bar and Kitchen which will be located in the 1100 block of Gratiot Avenue in the Marketplace Plaza. Marysville will also be considering the addition of eight parking spots at the city’s River Road Boat Launch. Port Huron meets at 7:00 tonight, Marysville at 7:30pm.
