New head at Port Huron Museum

The Port Huron Museum has a new Executive Director. After an extensive search of over 35 applicants, Margaret Aiken has been named Executive Director of the museum. Aiken comes from the Colby College Museum of Art in Maine, where she served as a school and teacher program coordinator. Before that, Aiken worked at the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She has a Bachelors in Art History from Yale University and a Masters in Museum Education from Tufts University. The Port Huron Museum consists of the Carnegie Center, Huron Light Ship, Thomas Edison Depot, and Fort Gratiot Lighthouse.
