Over $8,000 in drugs seized in Port Huron last week

The St. Clair County Drug Task Force having a busy week last week. On Wednesday January 24th, DTF members raided a house in the 1300 block of 8th street in Port Huron. $7,000 dollars worth of heroin and 400 dollars worth of crack was seized. Two men and one woman from Port Huron were arrested, as was a Detroit man. It was the second time the residence was raided over the past year. The four face a multitude of drug related charges. And then on Thursday, authorities searched a house in the 3700 block of Military street in Port Huron in an investigation into Heroin sales in Port Huron. Members of the Drug Task Force seized about $600 dollars worth of heroin and an unknown amount was was dumped down the garbage disposal by one of the suspects. A Port Huron man and a Detroit man were arrested and are housed in the St. Clair county jail.
