A new city hall building for Marysville is on the agenda for tonight’s city council meeting. Council members will be asked whether or not to approve construction of a new building not to exceed 2.1 million dollars located next to the current police and fire station on Delaware avenue. An advisory vote on building a municipal campus was turned down by Marysville voters in 2015. Since then, Marysville officials decreased the size and cost of the project, deciding to renovate the former fire hall which is being used as the city’s community center. The new building also calls for space to house the city’s museum, which is currently located in the historical former city hall building in the Marysville park. The Marysville City Council meets at 7:30 tonight.
