Mitch Callahan had two goals as the Detroit Red Wings opened the preseason with a 4-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night at Joe Louis Arena. Riley Sheahan added a goal and an assist for the Wings, who also got a goal from Evgeny Svechnikov. The Red Wings face the Bruins in Boston on Wednesday night in more exhibition play.
